Painter

ヒカワ ユタカ

Yutaka Hikawa sees the expanding world of imagination beyond daily life. He paints using a mixed technique of tempera and oil, creating a space that is dreamlike and strikes the viewer as ‘a clip from a story.’ Since 2014, he has studied under several painters, mainly Kimio Kawaguchi. Having learned the classic technique, Yutaka has gone on to participate in many competitions, as well as holding solo exhibitions in Tokyo, starting at Drado Gallery in Kagurazaka, and at Jiro Miura Gallery.
