Eiko Sasaki exhibits watercolors and drawings. She often looks for the moments of tranquility in lyricism in other artists’ works, which she translate into her own art.
She strives to paint moments from life that are typically not given their due, such as ordinariness, commonplaceness, serious-fondness, and naivety.
Her philosophy is to prioritize being an artisan over being an artist.
